About Dr. Gerald Yong
Dr Gerald Yong (MBBS Hons, FRACP, FSCAI) is an experienced Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in structural and valvular heart disease and complex coronary artery disease.
A pioneer in his field, Dr Yong performed Western Australia’s first transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI) procedure in 2009 and continues to lead innovation in minimally invasive cardiac care.​
Dr Yong is the clinical lead for Structural Heart and Valve Intervention at Fiona Stanley Hospital. Dr Yong works closely with GPs to support timely diagnosis, management and ongoing care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions.
